Was night hiking recently in an area that is closed after dark. While hiking one of the trails near a spring when a bright flash occurred. Not sure what it was I broke for cover (I watch mail call), I think I hit the ground before the flash went out. Waited for a few minutes debated what it was and was able to locate the camera and left it alone. Wonder if it was one of the types that does video, I would like to watch it. |

Probably someone out looking for utilization along game trails or watering holes, I'd suspect. _________________ Anywhere is within walking distance if you spend the time. |

Nighthiker, it was just a trail cam. That was real nice that you left it alone. You won't believe how many just get taken. The pictures from these trail cams are truly unbelievable. On some of these locations you will get deer, elk, bears, lions, javelina, etc... visiting the same spring or trail. And if you put one up down south, well then you might no only get picts of animals but picts of people carrying large square burlap sacks, machine guns and so on. Pretty amazing. |
