Man bitten by rattler while shopping at Wal-Mart
Associated Press
BROWNWOOD, Texas -- Police say a man was bitten by a rattlesnake while shopping for shoes in a Wal-Mart store in Texas.
Douglas Hatchett of Brownwood was examining shoes on a rack when a rattlesnake concealed behind a shoebox bit him yesterday. The snake fell to the floor, where Hatchett stomped it to death.
Police, fire and emergency medical crews were called to the scene.
The 31-year-old shopper and the dead snake were hustled to Brownwood Regional Medical Center. There, the snake was confirmed as a rattler, and Hatchett was treated and released.
Wal-Mart officials say the matter's being investigated and they have no comment.
Brownwood is about 120 miles southwest of Fort Worth. |

Now a breif lesson for Sherileeaz on how to do proper geek-speak.
Rather than set off your voice type using asterics as in:
Quote: |
*in my cute blond voice* |
use the same type of markers that PHP uses, for example:
Quote: |
[cute blond voice] Tee-hee-hee [/cute blond voice] |
Much more elegant - and annoying Plus all of us geeks will appreciate it more. _________________ "Only small minds want always to be right."

Daddee:
I'm doing valley girl *wink*
oh wait, let me be really annoying
[wink, bobbing my head side to side]like ummm I'm doing valley girl[/wink, bobbing my head side to side]
Nah, I'll keep my asterics, they are cute don't ya think *wiggle*
But since only a few of you truly know me, I'll refrain from anymore joking around.
PS: The floor is all yours Tom, don't slip! *bowing out* Have fun.

Hmmm. I thought the proper way to geek-speak involved like a dozen of them brackets or something.

Well, it might be something like this...
int i;
for (i = 0; i < 2; i++)
{
printf("for sure, \n");
}

Stan, I wouldn't either. I may have died of heart failure, but I wouldn't have killed the snake.
I expect that sort of encounter in the Supes, but not the local Wal Mart, that would totally catch me off guard. |

Doesn't that put in two commas?
This php snippet leaves the comma out :
<?php
$a = for sure;
echo "<p>$a++</p>";
?>
So I think all around this would be better, no need to concetate:
<?php
echo "<p>for sure, for sure </p>";
?> _________________ ;o)> |

My very thoughts. I definitely think about it next time I reach for a shoe box. _________________ ;o)> |
