I knew you guys were great - and you proved it again. Thank you so much for the thoughts and prayers. My wife also thanks you.
This has been a difficult ordeal. But I want you to know that we have indeed felt the support from many people. Shortly after we had seen Samantha and had cried a while together, we said a prayer together asking for comfort and strength, and an understanding for why this needed to be.
I think one of the answers to our prayers was to see how many friends we have - even some we never knew we had. The outpouring of love and support from everyone that has knowledge of our circumstance has been humbling and comforting. It's hard to know why we deserve to be associated with such wonderful people - but we are grateful for it. We have felt your strength and love and we sincerely appreciate it. It has made this whole ordeal a little easier to bear.
We have also been helped, through our friends, to realize that the world, fortunately, did not end. It is still a beautiful place, and there are still wonderful people and blessings aplenty in our lives. We are simply missing one person to enjoy it all with. However, our belief is that we will be with her again, and our joy will be full.
Again - thank you all. Words cannot describe adequately my gratitude. _________________ "Only small minds want always to be right."
